VincentViktoria KaffeeKlatsch Community Standards
To make sure every KaffeeKlatsch session is a welcoming, meaningful, and respectful experience, we ask all participants to honor the following ground rules and community standards.
Respect For One Another
Listen actively and generously.
Allow everyone space to speak — no dominating the conversation.
Avoid interrupting or dismissing others’ contributions.
Show kindness, patience, and empathy, especially across differing perspectives.
Curiosity Over Judgment
Come with an open mind, ready to learn from the experiences of others.
Ask thoughtful questions; avoid making assumptions.
Remember: we’re all here to grow, and none of us has all the answers.
Confidentiality
What’s shared in the group stays in the group.
Respect the privacy of colleagues sharing challenges, struggles, or sensitive insights.
Do not record or share content from the sessions without explicit permission.
Cameras On, Community In
To foster true connection, presence, and trust, we ask that all participants keep their cameras on during our sessions.
These gatherings are built on shared humanity—and seeing one another helps us stay grounded, attentive, and real. We understand life happens (tech issues, background chaos, unexpected moments), but as a general standard, “cameras on” is part of the commitment to the VincentViktoria KaffeeKlatsch experience.
If this expectation ever creates a barrier for you, please reach out privately—we’re building a space that’s warm and inclusive.
Solution-Focused
Name the Hard Things, Name the Problems, But Don’t Stay There – It’s okay to express what’s frustrating or challenging. We all need space to be real.
No Gripe Sessions – This isn’t the place for spiraling or venting without direction. We’re here to rise together, not stew together.
Shift Toward Possibility – After naming the problem, ask, “What might we try instead?” Let’s focus on creativity, not complaint.
Build, Don’t Just Unload – You’re here to be heard—and to help. Every voice can offer insight, encouragement, and solutions. Let’s make this time count.
Honor & Integrity
Please do not share Zoom meeting links with anyone who has not registered.
Any nonprofit professional is welcome to join for their first four weeks completely free — all they need is the sign-up link, not a shared backdoor link.
Sharing Zoom links without permission undermines the integrity of the space and makes it harder for us to manage a fair, welcoming, and high-quality experience for all.
Help us uphold the spirit of trust, fairness, and respect by guiding others to register properly.
Nonpartisan, Mission-Centered Dialogue
Focus on nonprofit work, leadership, learning, and support — not politicians.
Respect the diversity of missions, causes, and approaches represented in the room.
Keep the conversation mission-centered, constructive, policy-based, and forward-looking.
Why All This Matters
These ground rules exist because we believe in building something bigger than ourselves — a space where nonprofit professionals and donors can gather safely, authentically, and meaningfully.
Together, we rise.
